• Pilot Examiners
Pilot examiners in Michigan are designated by one of three FAA Flight Standards District offices: Grand Rapids, Detroit, or South Bend. This key shows which types of tests an examiner is authorized to conduct:

P - Private Pilot
C - Commercial Pilot
I - Instrument Rating
ATP - Airline Transport Pilot
SES - Single engine sea
Multi - Designated in one or more types of multiengine airplanes, call for more information.
CFI-I - Flight Instructor, Initial Certification
CFI-R - Flight Instructor, Additional Rating (e.g. CFII and/or MEI), Renewal, and Reinstatement
Aircraft type indicates authorization in specific multiengine airplane or helicopter
