Message from the Attorney General on Homeland Security
Message from the Attorney General on Homeland Security

"Emergency situations, be it from natural or man-made disasters, are something we all fear. But as Attorneys General, we have an obligation to turn that fear into action for our states and for our citizens. When seconds count, there is no time for hesitation or uncertainty, just as there can be no tolerance for acting outside of the law. Our states demand more, and I'm glad that, together, we will deliver."

--Attorney General Mike Cox
Chairman, Homeland Security Committee
National Association of Attorneys General

October 8, 2004
