I keep getting unwanted telephone solicitors calling my home, what can I do about it?

Answer:
To minimize telemarketing calls to your home, join the Federal Do-Not-Call Registry.  If you have an active e-mail account, you may register online at http://www.donotcall.gov.  To register by phone, dial 1-888-382-1222 from the phone number you want to place on the Do-Not-Call Registry.

Registrations are effective for five years, and should stop most (but not all) telemarketing calls within 30 days of registration.
