Proposed Sale of Bell Memorial to Lifepoint

In March 2013, Bell Memorial Hospital in Ishpeming, Michigan announced a proposed sale to Lifepoint Hospitals.  The Attorney General began reviewing the proposed sale.  On November 27, 2013, the Attorney General completed his review and approved the sale.  The Attorney General's final report is immediately below.  It explains the review process, the general terms of the sale, and the Attorney General's reasons for approving the sale.  Other important sale documents are also posted below.
