Why don't the year-to-date totals on my final earnings statement match the amounts reported on my W-2?
 
Answer:

Adjustments may have been made to your earnings since your last paycheck was issued; contact your Human Resource Office for details. Certain types of earnings or deductions may not be reflected in details of the last December earnings statement if they were not applicable to these earnings.
