| Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) Regionalization |

DMB Purchasing Operations streamlined the solicitation process for MRO contracts over the past three years. These contracts cover areas such as janitorial services, rubbish removal, grounds maintenance, snow removal, and security guard services for state agencies. This statewide regional initiative has reduced the price tag of government by eliminating duplication of effort while improving the solicitation process for Michigan businesses.
MRO Janitorial Pre-Qualification Process Opening Soon
The MRO Janitorial statewide pre-qualification Invitation to Bid (ITB) will be placed on the state Website between 3/12/08 and 3/21/08. The pre-qualification will allow bidders to submit company information for evaluation per the criteria noted in the ITB. Evaluations are anticipated to be completed by the end of September 2008 for the 2009 bidding cycle. A listing of all qualified bidders will be posted upon completion of the evaluations.
