Overview
The following are prequalification opportunities within the State. Prequalification is required before vendors are able to submit bids or proposals.
Natural Gas
This is a pre-qualified program for natural gas vendors. The natural gas vendors supply natural gas to the State of Michigan Energy Cooperative and are responsible for the management of the natural gas supply to the Cooperative members.
Notice dated 1-8-09: The State of Michigan is opening up the Pre-Qualified Program for Natural Gas Providers. Information will be posted in the next few weeks.

Natural Gas Prequalification
Maintenance Repair and Operations (MRO)
for Janitorial Services
DMB Purchasing Operations will be pre-qualifying vendors to provide janitorial services on a statewide basis. This will streamline the bidding process for the 2009 cycle. The Maintenance Repair and Operations (MRO) - Janitorial document provides a detailed overview of the updated changes.
Food (Department of Corrections)
Purchasing Operations is soliciting completed Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from firms interested in providing food for the State of Michigan, Department of Corrections (MDOC).
The purpose of this solicitation is to pre-qualify vendors for the establishment of food contracts for the Department of Corrections.
Pre-qualified vendors will be determined by an evaluation of applicant's SOQ.

These "refresh" opportunities may occur if MDOC requirements indicate a need for additional pre-qualified vendors.
Printing Services (Department of Management and Budget)
Purchasing Operations is soliciting completed Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from firms interested in providing printing services for the State of Michigan, Department of Management and Budget.
The purpose of this solicitation is to pre-qualify vendors for one-time buys of printing services for the Department of Management and Budget.
Pre-qualified vendors will be determined by an evaluation of applicant's SOQ.

Fresh Beef and Poultry Products
(Department of Corrections, Michigan State Industries)
Purchasing Operations is soliciting completed Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from firms interested in providing fresh beef and poultry products for the State of Michigan, Department of Corrections, Michigan State Industries.
The purpose of this solicitation is to pre-qualify vendors for the establishment of the fresh beef and poultry products contracts for the Department of Corrections.
Pre-qualified vendors will be determined by an evaluation of applicant's SOQ.
