All versions of the Error Check Application downloaded/installed prior to 7/7/08 are invalid and must be uninstalled prior to downloading/installing the current version. Failure to uninstall previous versions of the application will prevent the new version from installing correctly.

  Full Version 8.2.4 with Access Database version 8.2.4, and Business Rules Version 8.2.2
  This version of Error Check must be downloaded for the EOY 2008 submission.  Prior versions are not valid for this submission.
  1. Save Zip (SRSDErrCKV8.2.zip) file to Local Drive (C:)
  2. Unzip file to a temporary directory
  3. Double Click on "ErrorCheckInstaller.exe" and follow installation wizard instructions.

  This file contains revisions (patches) to Error Check.  If this is the first time you are installing Error Check EOY 2008, it is not necessary to perform these steps.
  To update the SRSD 'Business Rules' download the SRSDErrorCheckEOY2008.dll by following these steps:

  1. Shift-click on the link above to start the Download.
  2. If prompted click 'Save' then 'OK'.
  3. Select the directory where the CEPIErrorCheck Application (CEPIErrorCheck.exe) was installed.
     (Typically this is:
     'C:Program FilesCEPI Error Check - EOY 2008')
  4. Click 'Save'.
  5. When prompted to 'Replace...?' click 'Yes'

  Tip: To check the version(s) you are running, from the Error Check menu, select 'Help' and click 'About'.

  This database is updated daily. Download a new version only if your District and/or Building code is not found in your local copy of the database.  To download the SRSD Access Database CEPIErrorCheck.mdb, follow these steps:

  1. Shift-click on the link above to start the Download.
  2. If prompted click 'Save' then 'OK'.
  3. Select the directory where the CEPIErrorCheck Application (ErrorCheckEOY2008.exe) was installed.
     (Typically this is:

  4. Click 'Save'.
  5. When prompted to 'Replace...?' click 'Yes'

  Use this setup program to install the Microsoft XML Parser.
  Installation of the XML parser should eliminate the '429' error when running the DS-4061 report.

  To install the Microsoft XML Parser 3.0 sp2, follow these steps:

  1. Shift-click on the link above to start the Download.
  2. If prompted, click 'Save' then 'OK'.
  3. Save the 'msxml3.msi' to a temporary directory.
  4. Run 'msxml3.msi' from the temporary directory and follow prompts.
  5. Delete 'msxml3.msi' from the temporary directory.
  6. Run DS-4061 Report.
