Michigan Student Data System - Migrant Curriculum

At the request of the Michigan Department of Education (MDE), the Michigan Student Data System (MSDS) will not collect data for students eligible for migrant services or their curriculum course information. MDE has informed the Center for Educational Performance and Information (CEPI) that it is exploring other options for the collection of these data.

At this time, the Migrant Education Data System (MEDS) is the source system providing MSDS with nightly updates of students reported as eligible for migrant services. CEPI is working on updates to the MSDS Student History page and collection reports that will allow users to see when students enrolled in their district are eligible for migrant services.
