School Data and Reports

School building-related information is maintained throughout the year by districts and public school academies in the Educational Entity Master (EEM), formerly School Code Master (SCM). The EEM includes general directory information as well as the official district and school identification codes of all K-12 public facilities. CEPI also collects data regarding school safety information via the School Infrastructure Database (SID). These data consist of safety policies and practices, school prevention programs, level of disciplinary problems, and types of safety/disciplinary incidents.

Important Download Note: When you download a .dbf file (database file) to your computer, do not immediately open it. Instead, open Excel (or the spreadsheet/database software you use) and then open the downloaded file from within the software.
