Lansing, MI June 12, 2007 - Phyllis Gambel of Lewiston proved you don't have to play bingo in a big city to win big money.  Playing only 1 Big Money Bingo sheet, Gambel of Lewiston, bingoed in 48 numbers to take home the Big Money Bingo jackpot of $59,466.  Gambel, who is retired and has played bingo since she was in her 20's, became the fifth winner of Big Money Bingo since the game debuted March 15.  Gambel plans to take a Caribbean cruise in January with her husband Gary and share the money with her children.

Gambel joins the elite group of Big Money Bingo winners: Virginia Jones of Detroit who won a record jackpot of $215,696; Sharon Tedford of Flint who won $50,826; Barbara Boutell of Clinton Township who won $63,540; and Renee Kingsbury of Shiawassee County who won $67,804.  Nearly a half million dollars in total prizes has been awarded to date.
