Adrian facilities hold blood drive

ARF Maintenance Mechanic Leonard Gust

The Gus Harrison (ARF) and Parr Highway (ATF) correctional facilities held their 13th Annual Big Goose Blood Drive on November 14. The annual event is held in memory of former RUM Steven Gosselin. The coordinators of the drive were: Thomas K. Bell, Deputy Warden, ARF; Sheryl Betts, Deputy Warden’s Secretary, ARF; and Nola Fettig, RUM, ATF. The facilities exceeded the drive’s

goal of 50 units, netting 56 pints of blood, collected by the American Red Cross, Great Lakes Region Blood Services.

The annual Big Goose memorial blood drive has collected approximately 1,000 units of blood over the past 13 years.
