Children's Trust Fund Board to Meet

The Michigan Children's Trust Fund (CTF) board will meet Monday, April 28, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at DTE Energy, 101 South Washington Square, Suite 700, in Lansing.
Board chair Nancy Moody will preside. The agenda will include reports from committee chairs and the executive director. The meeting is open to the public.
The Children's Trust Fund is a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of child abuse and neglect. The fund works in partnership with its 72 local councils serving 82 Michigan counties. Local councils are independent, community-based organizations that identify needs and facilitate collaborative prevention programs for children and families in their communities. The CTF board is housed within the Department of Human Services. Since 1982, the fund has raised over $60 million and has provided support to over six million children and families.
