Project: Parenting Communities is a universal prevention program for Leelanau families with young children. The project expansion will embed Parenting Communities in three more Leelanau child care programs and reach working families with young children. Parenting Communities is based on the Strengthening Families through Early Care and Education model and offers a menu of family support offerings to all Leelanau families with young children. This program includes playgroups, parent education groups, and home visits.
