Michigan's Breach Notification Law Training Video

Forty plus states have enacted legislation requiring companies and/or state agencies to disclose security breaches involving personal information.   Michigan's Identity Theft Protection Act 452 was amended effective July 2007 to include provisions for breach notifications. The following video reviews why sensitive information for the State of Michigan needs to be protected ; gives a brief overview of the State of Michigan's policies and procedures to protect sensitive information; and  provides resources for additional information on the subject.
