Unacceptable Use
- Any use of resources that violates State or US law are clear violations of this policy.
- Creating or forwarding of chain mail regardless of content.
- Using SOM resources for personal profit, political fundraising, gambling, non-business related instant messaging or chat room activity and downloading or display of offensive material.
- Any use that violates public safety or compromises the privacy of resident or citizen information.
- Hacking or acting to disrupt systems or cause unnecessary network congestion or application delays.
- Use of any remote control software not set up by DIT staff using methods authorized by standards or policy.
