Ecosystems & Biodiversity

The Ecosystems Unit is designed to provide Middle School teachers (grades 4-6) with educational materials to improve their understanding of ecosystems.  There are many lessons available such as "Michigan's Web of life" and " What is an ecosystem."  This curriculum was put together by experts with the support and guidance of the DEQ.

Project FLOW:  Fisheries Learning On the Web is a collection of web-based lessons about Great Lakes aquatic science. The site provides web-based activities about food webs, water, wetlands and fishes that meet Michigan and national standards and benchmarks.
