Michigan Environmental Education Curriculum Support (MEECS)

Each MEECS curriculum unit requires a four to six-hour training workshop.  participants of workshops will receive a classroom unit kit which includes:

• A binder of lesson plans relating to the given curriculum unit
• CD-ROM with electronic version of binder material plus extension lessons, supplemental recources and materials, Powerpoint presentations, videos, and more!
• Background information for teachers
• Hands-on activities and experiments
• Pre and post test
• MEAP-like unit assessments
• Colorful posters and worksheets
• Alignment with Michigan Content Expectations

Educators are encouraged to attend as many workshops as they desire in order to obtain all 5 classroom unit kits.

Materials
All MEECS materials are available for purchase through the Educational Materials Center (EMC) of Central Michigan University. Signed purchase order, credit card, or mailed check or money order (payable to: The Education Materials Center) are accepted.
