Your mission statement may include all or some of the following environmental components:

Articulate your environmental mission and goals.

Emphasize continuous environmental improvement.

Promote reuse, reduce and recycling.

Commit to communication and interaction with the public.

Emphasize compliance with relevant environmental laws and regulations.

Several example environmental mission statements are listed below.  You can use these examples as a starting point to create your own facility-specific mission statement.
