Drinking Water Analysis Laboratory

The Drinking Water Analysis Laboratory offers services for the analysis of drinking water quality. These services include all physical, chemical, and microbiological testing procedures currently used for this purpose by state and local water supply programs. Bacteriological testing is also available for testing the sanitary quality of public swimming pools and bathing beaches, and for investigating failures of sewage systems. The Drinking Water Laboratory has broad scientific capabilities for responding to any new potential environmental threat to Michigan water supplies.

 

Full testing services are available from the Drinking Water Analysis Laboratory which was established under Michigan's Safe Drinking Water Act. The primary laboratory in Lansing is available for consultation regarding any issue on the following pages.
