Department of Environmental Quality Director Steven E. Chester announces a public outreach session to be held in Flint on October 13.
Director Chester and several of his key staff will be conducting several public outreach sessions across the state to solicit comments on environmental issues facing their community. The Flint Public Outreach Session will be held at the Flint City Hall Council Chambers, at 1101 South Saginaw, 3rd Floor, Flint. The event is from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and will begin with a short presentation by Director Chester. The public outreach session will then be opened for an informal question and answer session.
“It is crucial that the DEQ is accessible to the citizens of the state,” said DEQ Director Chester. “These forums provide DEQ leadership with the opportunity to directly engage in one-on-one discussions on environmental issues facing citizens in their community.”
