The hearing is designed to solicit input from the public on how Michigan can best protect and preserve its water resources.
"This is an issue of great significance for all Michigan citizens," said Director Chester. "I want to thank Senator Birkholz for hosting this meeting, and encourage the public to share their opinions on how best Michigan can protect the Great Lakes and our surface and ground waters."
The meeting will take place on Monday, July 25, from 7:00 – 9:00 pm in Gaylord High School’s Gornick Auditorium.
