DEQ Hosting Information Open House Regarding Marathon Oil Refinery

The Department of Environmental Quality is reminding those interested that there will be an informal question and answer session regarding a proposed air permit for the Marathon Oil Refinery in Detroit. This session will be on Wednesday, April 16, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Kemeny Center, 2260 South Fort Street, Detroit. No formal presentation will be given, DEQ staff will be available to provide information and answer questions about the proposed air permit. There will also be representatives present from Marathon and other community groups.

A formal public hearing on the air permit will take place on Wednesday, April 30 at the same location.
