Minimum Computer Requirements :

To take full advantage of the MAERS software, it is suggested that you have, as a minimum, the following computer capabilities:

Your computer must have a 32 bit Operating systems such as NT 4.0, 2000 and XP.  Tests have been conducted only on machines with NT 4.0, 2000 and XP.  MAERS software will not install on or operate on 16 bit operating systems such as Windows for Workgroups 3.xx.  Microsoft ended support for Windows 98 and Windows ME as of July 11, 2006 because they are outdated and can expose customers to security risks. They recommend that customers who are still running Windows 98 or Windows ME upgrade to a newer, more secure Microsoft operating system, such as Windows XP, as soon as possible.  Also Microsoft ended support for Windows XP Service Pack 1 as of October 10, 2006.
