Contaminated groundwater at Ott-Story Superfund Site - Muskegon County

The National Priority List is the list of the known releases, or threatened releases, of hazardous substances or contaminants that have national priority. Sites in Michigan are nominated for inclusion on this list by DEQ.  The NPL is used by the USEPA as a guide in determining which sites warrant further investigation and remediation under the Superfund clenaup process. You can locate all NPL sites in Michigan, check their cleanup progress, and get information on new and proposed NPL sites by clicking here.
