Geological Core and Sample Repository
The statewide Geological Core and Sample Repository in Marquette houses material representing many miles of core drilling in Michigan . Mineral exploration and other geology projects are the major sources of samples. Well cutting and outcrop samples are also included. Access to these materials is by prior arrangement with Melanie A.
