In KALAMAZOO is the  Michigan Geological Repository  for Research and Education (MGRRE) at Western Michigan University with an emphasis on Southern Peninsula geology.  Information about MGRRE can be found on-line at http://wsh060.westhills.wmich.edu/MGRRE/index.shtml . 

In MARQUETTE is the Northern Michigan Geological Repository which focuses on Northern Peninsula geology.   Access to these materials is by prior arrangement with Melanie A.
