The project might or might not lead to an application. Addition information can be found at the company and possibly other sites. If an application is received it will be removed from here and added to the

Aquila
Back 40 Project
The Back 40 Project ore deposit was initially defined in 2002. It is a complex group of deposits with economic amounts of zinc (Zn), gold (Au), copper (Cu), and silver (Ag). The deposit is located in Lake Township of Menominee County. Drilling continues to refine the size, extent and character of the deposits. An application for mining permits has not been received by the DEQ.
Orvana Copperwood Project
Orvana Minerals Corp. has acquired mineral leases for a possible new copper (Cu) mine referred to as the Copperwood Project in
Gogebic County . An application for mining permits has not been received by the DEQ.
