Accordingly, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE, the requirement to file an AWR on or before August 1st of each calendar year is hereby suspended and will not be enforced by the Water Bureau (WB), DEQ.  In the event circumstances change, you will be notified in writing prior to the resumption of any reporting requirements for the AWR.  If you have any further questions on this matter, please contact Tonya Schelter, Pollution Prevention and Compliance Assistance Section, Environmental Science and Services Division, at 517-373-8481.

The website to access electronic reporting is: www.deq.state.mi.us/awr. A User Name and a Password are required to complete the form.

To obtain a User Name and a Password, the DEQ is requesting that all persons responsible for submitting the Wastewater Report, e-mail the DEQ at DEQ-EAD-AWR@michigan.gov.

In the e-mail Subject Line the reporting person should indicate ELECTRONIC REPORTING and the facility ID number(s) for the facilities they are submitting reports.

In the body of the note please indicate and confirm the information below:
1. Your first and last name.
2. Facility ID numbers (the actual id number of the facility), facility name, and address (this information should be pre-printed on the letter).

You will receive your USER NAME in an e-mail reply. This USER NAME is required to confirm your registration information and authorization to submit a Web-based electronic report for the 2008 reporting year.

WASTEWATER REPORTS FOR REPORT YEAR 2008 ARE DUE AUGUST 1, 2009.
