Please visit the Water Withdrawal Assessment Tool (WWAT). Use of the WWAT is now required (per amendments to Part 327, Great Lakes Preservation, of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, 1994 PA 451, as amended (Part 327) before the installation of any large quantity withdrawal.

If the proposed withdrawal passes, you may register it directly through the WWAT. If the proposed withdrawal fails, you may request a Site Specific Review from the Department of Environmental Quality.
