Beach water monitoring

This page provides information about Michigan's beaches. Here you will find information about beach closings, monitoring efforts and E. coli test results. The data in the beach monitoring system ("BeachGuard") are entered by the local health department offices.  On March 16, 2025, Beachguard was added to our MiEnviro Portal.
