CITY OF ANN ARBOR. - Public Services Area - Ann Arbor, MI Manager, Water Treatment Services - 1997-present
  • Responsible for daily operations, maintenance and inspection, laboratory services, plant engineering and administration of 50 MGD water treatment plant using surface water and ground water, hydropower generation facilities and dams. Ensure that the water supply system is in compliance with state and federal regulations. Oversee all aspects of personnel management. Leading all aspects of security enhancements of the City's water supply system.

Interim Director of Utilities - 1999-2001
  • Directly responsible for water production and distribution, wastewater treatment, stormwater collection and disposal, and hydroelectric facility, 139 employees, unionized department, and the administration of a $35M O&M budget.
  • Completed a comprehensive assessment of the Water Utilities Department.
  • Led a Sanitary Sewage Backup Prevention Taskforce to develop cost-effective options to address and resolve problems. Project Engineer - 1990-1997
