Rod has over 35 years experience in dewatering and all aspects of groundwater removal. In 1988 Rod founded Mersino Dewatering, Inc. and currently has branches in Florida, Alabama, Texas, and the Greater Chicago area. In 1998 Rod started Global Pump Co., LLC, a manufacturing company that builds a variety of sizes of pumps used in water removal operations as well as by-pass operations. In addition, Rod began Mersino Properties Co.,LLC and RAM Properties, Inc., which are companies that invest in real estate.
Rod has been married to Karen for 34 years, and they have raised seven children. They currently have 10 grandchildren and are awaiting three more. Three of his children are active in the business. Rod has been a resident of Lapeer County for 20 years.
