EPA Sector Notebooks:

 

Environmental Compliance Improvements Through P2.  Specific compliance assistance is available from the U.S. EPA, Office of Compliance in a series of Industry Sector Notebooks. These notebooks are unique in taking a "whole facility" approach to environmental information. The Sector Notebooks contain excellent, industry-specific information on economic trends, manufacturing processes, raw material inputs and outputs, chemical release profiles, summaries of regulations and compliance history, pollution prevention opportunities, government and industry initiatives for compliance assurance.  The sector-based approach helps industries and businesses to build a foundation for developing "whole facility" solutions to environmental problems, as well as, create and improve innovative pollution prevention programs. Example industry sectors that are represented include pharmaceutical, chemical, electronics, textiles and metal casting. All titles are available and may be downloaded from the internet at no charge.
