U.S. Department of Energy – Fuel Economy Guide -Provides useful consumer data on gas mileage, greenhouse gas emissions, air pollution ratings, and safety information for new and used cars and trucks
U.S. Department of Energy – Energy Efficiency Page -The Energy Use and Efficiency Page is a continuation of EIA’s effort to take the lead to develop robust and reproducible energy-efficiency indicators and also measurements of greenhouse gas as related to energy use and energy efficiency. This continuation is in the form of a listserv, whereby all interested analysts can share ideas, data, and ask for assistance on methodological problems associated with energy use, energy efficiency, and greenhouse gas issues
U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) – Weatherization and Intergovernmental Program - DOE has formed a new Weatherization and Intergovernmental Program. This new program will provide consumers and decision makers with information on cost, performance, and financing energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. It is responsible for maintaining working relationships with our stakeholders, some of whom include state and local governments, weatherization agencies, auto companies, fleet managers, building code officials, Native American tribal governments, and international agencies.
U.S. Department of Energy – Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) - The FEMP works to reduce the cost and environmental impact of the Federal government by advancing energy efficiency and water conservation, promoting the use of distributed and renewable energy, and improving utility management decisions at Federal sites.

U.S. DEPARTMENT OFFICES (By End-Use Sector)
Office of Building Technologies, State and Community Programs - The Office of Building Technology, State and Community Programs (BTS) is part of the Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. The BTS' mission is to provide technology leadership, promote energy efficiency, and stimulate collaborative activities to make U.S. buildings more efficient, comfortable, affordable and sustainable. The goal of this website is to provide our customers with information about advanced building technology systems and partnership opportunities that promote energy efficiency and pollution prevention.
Office of Industrial Technologies (OIT) -DOE –The OIT is part of the Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. OIT's mission is to create partnerships among industry, trade groups, government entities and other organizations to develop and deliver advanced energy efficiency, renewable energy, and pollution prevention technologies to industrial customers. The goal of this Information Locator is to provide customers with information on advanced technologies which can improve productivity, reduce raw material and energy use, and minimize the generation of wastes and pollutants.
Office of Transportation Technologies (OTT) -The OTT supports the development of critical transportation technologies that are often too risky for private industry to develop on their own. OTT works with industry researchers through our national laboratories, often in 50-50 funding partnerships, to speed up the transfer of technological advances in electric vehicles, alternative fuels and fuel additives, and energy-efficient gasoline and diesel engines.
Office of Power Technologies (OPT) - The mission of the OPT is to lead the national effort to support and develop clean, competitive, reliable power technologies for the 21st century.
