State Park Stewardship Initiative
With assistance from the Environmental Protection Agency - Region 5, the Departments of Environmental Quality and Natural Resources have partnered on an initiative to promote environmental stewardship and best management practices at Michigan's state parks. The Initiative will increase awareness among park officials of the impact of their operation on the environment, and takes advantage of the opportunity to promote P2 to the 28 million people who visit Michigan's state parks each year. |
