WHAT
The Michigan Business Pollution Prevention Partnership (MBP3) is a voluntary partnership open to all Michigan businesses interested in saving money and protecting our environment, through initiating or expanding pollution prevention (P2) practices. Participants are asked to provide an annual summary of their progress and share success stories on their pollution prevention activities.
Originally developed for the business community, the MBP3 program has evolved into a fully-integrated partnership of not just businesses but anyone who can benefit from the successes of pollution prevention and environmental stewardship.
WHO
Any Michigan business, municipality, institution, organization or association, private or public, regardless of size or industry type are welcome to join the MPB3. These parties are welcome to join as corporations consisting of multiple locations, single facilities or individuals. A main strength of the partnership is its diversity among partners. This diversity allows for an increasing amount of expertise available to members who wish to utilize this benefit.
