Ag Container Recycling Council
. The ACRC is a non-profit organization that promotes and supports the collection and recycling of properly rinsed HDPE crop protection product containers
All Plastics Bottles. This site contains information to help a community decide whether or not to collect all plastic bottles in their recycling program.
"APME (the Association of Plastics Manufacturers in Europe) acts as the voice for the European polymer producing industry and is a central source of information to help the many people who have an interest in plastics." This site contains a number of different resources and explanations about plastics and their role in industry and the environment.
PlasticBagRecycling.org. This site provides resources specific to consumers, businesses, recyclers, recycling coordinators and retailers interested in recycling plastic bags and plastic film.
Plastic Loose Fill Council This site contains a searchable database that can provide the user with locations of collection centers for expanded polystyrene (packaging peanuts) for reuse and recycling. This site also contains other tips and information to manage this packaging properly.
Plastics News on the Web
. This site is sponsored by the editors of "Plastics News." It includes a database of plastics companies including those that deal in recycled plastics.
Plastic Redesign Project
. "The Plastic Redesign Project is a coalition of state and local government agencies and associations dedicated to strengthening the economics of local plastics recycling programs through voluntary public-private partnerships."
Progressive Bag Affiliates. This new program, under the auspices of the American Chemistry Council, brings together manufacturers of plastic bags, former members of the Progressive Bag Alliance and plastic resin manufacturers to promote the environmentally responsible use of plastic bags.
