Detroit Edison River Rouge plant earns state environmental honor

The DEQ today presented Detroit Edison River Rouge Plant and its community partners the Neighborhood Environmental Partners Program Award for outstanding commitment to environmental community outreach.

 

The NEP Awards Program was developed by the DEQ to recognize facilities and their community partners who have worked together on environmental and natural resource projects to improve the local environment in their communities.

DEQ presented the award at an afternoon ceremony at the Detroit Edison River Rouge Plant.
