    Who We Are

    The Office of Human Resources (OHR) offers a wide range of personnel services to DEQ employees. OHR also oversees all hiring processes in DEQ, ensuring the staffing needs are met for all divisions and offices.

    To apply for a position in the DEQ, go to the Civil Service Commission home page at http://www.michigan.gov/mdcs and click on MI-JOBs, found in the right hand margin.  This site will provide you with a list of all current vacancies within the State of Michigan.  To apply for any State position, applicants must follow the links for completing their on-line profile which includes creating a username and password.  Applicants will receive automatic notification that their application has been received.

    DEQ does not accept unsolicited résumés; only documentation received in response to a specific vacancy will be considered.  Check the website frequently as vacancy postings are added daily.
