Agency: Environmental Quality
On December 14, 2010, Michigan's Governor Jennifer M. Granholm signed into law Public Act 231 of 2010 that created the State Water Pollution Control Revolving Fund Advisory Committee (Committee). The Committee was established to review and provide recommendations regarding the State Water Pollution Control Revolving Fund, commonly known as the State Revolving Fund (SRF). The SRF is funded by a capitalization grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to provide low-interest financing to qualified Michigan communities to assist with wastewater treatment projects. The SRF program was established by the Part 53, Clean Water Assistance, of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, 1994 PA 451, as amended.State Revolving Fund Advisory Committee Final Report
