Environmental Incentives

The Department of Natural Resources and Environment (DNRE) administers several programs that provide incentives to local units of government, business and industry to be proactive in carrying out their environmental responsibilities. Positive public recognition, regulatory flexibility and other incentives are available to those in the regulatory community who go beyond the traditional requirements outlined in the rules and regulations.

Environmental Audit Privilege & Immunity

Environmental Management System

Clean Corporate Citizen
Click here for: The Clean Corporate Citizen (C3) program allows regulated establishments that have demonstrated environmental stewardship and a strong environmental ethic through their operations in Michigan to be recognized as Clean Corporate Citizens.
Neighborhood Environmental Partners
