Water Infrastructure 101 Workshop

The free Water Infrastructure 101 Workshop was intended to provide basic information on topics associated with waterworks system infrastructure. The goal of the workshop was to provide attendees with a better understanding of the complex waterworks systems. The workshop was for the general public and included presentations that addressed how water travels to and from a household, how it is tested, treated, and regulated. Industry experts, state, and local officials were on hand to answer questions.

101 Series - Water Filters & Flushing - learn how to properly install a water filter and flush pipes within your house.

 

 

Staff from the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, American Water Works Association, Flint CORE Team, City of Flint Water Treatment Plant, and the Copper Development Association were on hand to answer questions in the assistance area throughout the workshop.
