Oil and Gas Well Applications and Permits

Michigan law allows 50 days for making a permit decision on oil and gas well applications. Applications that are administratively complete are typically reviewed and finalized within 30 days from the date the application was received.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO PREPARE WELL LOCATION

On March 8, 2016, Jordan Development Company provided the DEQ with the required five-day advance notice of its intent to begin preparing the well location for drilling operations.

It is suggested that in order for comments to be considered, they be provided within the first three weeks of the application filing date.  Please include your contact information and reference the application number, well name and number, and applicant’s name within your comment submittal.
