Solid Waste Policy Advisory Committee

The Solid Waste Policy Advisory Committee was created by the Waste and Hazardous Materials Division in January 2006 to update Michigan's Solid Waste Policy.

Michigan Solid Waste Policy 2007 

Solid Waste Policy Advisory Committee (SWPAC) Purpose:
To provide a long-term vision for waste management in Michigan, the Solid Waste Policy Advisory Committee will play a key role in Updating the Solid Waste Policy by:
     -Identifying issues that the Policy should address
     -Drafting policy statements, implementation strategies, and goals and measures
