The Michigan Lead and Copper Rule Stakeholder Workgroup (LCR Stakeholder Workgroup) is assisting the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) with recommendations to address modifications to the Administrative Rules promulgated pursuant to Michigan's Safe Drinking Water Act, 1976 PA 399, as amended. The LCR Stakeholder Workgroup will recommend changes to rules relating to lead and copper in public water supplies in Michigan. Additional comments from the general public will be solicited during the public comment portion of the rulemaking process.
