Beach Water Monitoring
Click here for: The Michigan public beaches and recreational-use waterways program contains information about beach closings, monitoring efforts and E. coli test results. Data locaed on this site is entered and maintained by local health department offices.
Assessment of Michigan Waters
Click here for: The Surface Water Assessment Section oversees the protection of the quality of surface waters throughout the State of Michigan.
Inland Lakes Monitoring
Click here for: The Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), in partnership with the Michigan Lake and Stream Associations, Inc. (ML&SA), developed the Cooperative Lakes Monitoring Program (CLMP) as a cost-effective method for citizens to monitor water quality and to document changes in lake quality over time.
