Healthcare Pollution Prevention
The Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) through the Michigan Healthcare P2 Partnership has joined with the Michigan Health and Hospital Association (MHA) to form the Michigan Green Healthcare Committee (MGHC). MGHC was created to encourage and support sustainability initiatives that improve public and environmental health in Michigan. MGHC also provides P2 technical and compliance assistance as well as training and financial support to drive waste reductions at Michigan hospitals.
