HIV/AIDS Support Services

DHS provides information and support services for people who test positive for HIV or AIDS. Services include referral and coordination of DHS services with community resources, case management and other government benefits. The insurance Assistance Program pays the private medical insurance premiums for those with HIV or AIDS who qualify. In addition, Wayne County operates a medically Fragile Unit.
