Outcomes and Evaluation

Dad and child in sillouette During Proud Fathers and Proud Parents programing in 2008, the following percentages of participants agreed or strongly agreed to the statements:
  • 84.3 % - Parenting skills improved.
  • 85 % - More easily understood children.
  • 85.8 % - Improved confidence in parenting.
  • 88.1 % - Improved ability to listen.
  • 90.4 % Curriculum was easy to understand.
  • 91.4 % Felt proud of their accomplishments in the program.
  • 93.6 % - Would recommend Proud Parents or Proud Fathers to someone else.
  • 94.3 % - Facilitators encouraged participation.
  • 94.9 % Facilitators were knowledgeable.
