The following EBT training media are made available to DHS clients -
- How to Use Your Michigan Bridge Card Booklet: This booklet covers all aspects of how to use the Bridge Card at retailer locations and ATMs. It also explains how to care for the card and what the client should do if their card is damaged, lost, or stolen. This booklet is available in English, Spanish, Arabic, Braille, and audio tape.
- Michigan Bridge Card Video: This 23 minute video provides step-by-step instructions to the client on how to use the Bridge Card for purchasing food, non-food items, obtaining cash, and using Customer Service. This video can be viewed at any DHS local office. The video is available in English, Spanish, Arabic, and is also open captioned.
- Customer Service Number: A toll free number, 1-888-678-8914, is available to cliens 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Clients can call this number to determine their balance, report a lost, stolen, or damaged card, to request a replacement card, or to change their Personal Identification Number (PIN).
This toll free number also provides services in Spanish and Arabic languages. Clients using a rotary dial phone will remain on the line to talk with a customer service representative. Hearing-impared or speech-impared persons can use the Michigan Relay Center at 1 (800) 649-3777 (TTY) to call Customer Service.
